Toyota Venza New & Used for Sale in Salem, Connecticut (CT)
The Toyota Venza is a five-passenger crossover sport utility vehicle that was introduced in 2008 as a 2009 model.The Venza was produced in Toyota's Georgetown, Kentucky plant and was a replacement for the Toyota Camry Solara. It was aimed at buyers who wanted a vehicle with the utility of an SUV, but the ride and handling of a car-based crossover.
The Venza was offered in two trim levels; the base LE and the upscale XLE. Standard equipment on the LE included 17-inch alloy wheels, a rearview camera, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescope steering wheel and an eight-speaker audio system. The XLE trim added keyless entry and start, heated outside mirrors and an upgraded audio system.
The Venza was available with two engines; a 2.7L four-cylinder and a 3.5L V6. The four-cylinder produced 181 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque, while the V6 produced 268 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque. Both engines were paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive was standard, while all-wheel drive was available as an option.
The Venza was a popular vehicle for its time, but Toyota discontinued the model in 2017 due to slow sales. The Venza was never offered in Salem CT, but many of them can still be found on used car lots throughout the state.
