.Pontiac is an American automobile brand founded in 1926 and was discontinued by General Motors in 2010. It was named after the Ottawa chief, who had also given his name to the city of Pontiac, Michigan, where the car was first produced.
The Pontiac Solstice was a two-door roadster introduced in 2006. It came equipped with a 2.4 L Ecotec four-cylinder engine, producing 177 hp and 166 lb-ft of torque. It was available with either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic.
