Mercury Mariner New & Used for Sale in Salem, Connecticut (CT)

Mercury Mariner was first introduced in 2004 as a mid-size SUV that was designed for people living in cities or who had busy lifestyles. It was built on a Ford Escape platform, but featured an exclusive design that was inspired by the Mercury Marauder and featured a variety of luxury amenities. It came equipped with a 3.0L V6 engine that was capable of producing 200 horsepower and produced decent fuel economy.

The Mercury Mariner was available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and had a boxy design that could accommodate seven passengers. It came equipped with features such as a JBL stereo and dual-zone climate control, and offered an optional panoramic sunroof. Inside, the Mariner featured a sleek interior that featured leather seating, wood grain accents, and power adjustable driver's seat.

Safety features included ABS, traction control, and a standard tire pressure monitoring system. In addition, the Mercury Mariner also offered an available reverse sensing system and side-curtain airbags for added security. It was praised for its ride quality and handling, as well as its quiet and responsive powertrain.

The Mercury Mariner was discontinued in 2010 when Ford discontinued the Mercury brand.
