Jaguar S
The Jaguar S-Type was a mid-size luxury car introduced in 1998 by British automobile manufacturer Jaguar Cars. The S-Type was designed to fill the gap between the company's smallest model, the X-Type, and the flagship XJ saloon. Featuring Jaguar's traditional styling cues, the S-Type focused on providing a smooth and comfortable ride for the driver and passengers. It featured a powerful 3.2 liter V6 engine, along with a four-speed automatic transmission, and a variety of advanced safety features to keep the driver and passengers safe. The S-Type was well-received by critics and consumers, and in 2000, it was awarded the Motor Trend Car of the Year award.
The S-Type was sold in Connecticut until it was discontinued in 2008. During its run in the state, the S-Type was a popular choice for residents, both for its luxurious interior and its sporty exterior. The S-Type was also known for its tight handling and responsive acceleration, making it a great choice for those looking for a reliable car that could be driven in the city or on the highway. Additionally, the S-Type was equipped with a variety of advanced safety features, including an anti-lock braking system and driver and passenger airbags.
Today, many Jaguar S-Types can still be found in Salem, Connecticut. While they are no longer being made, they remain popular with those looking for a reliable, luxurious ride.
